Severely cold weather is tough on all of us, especially the little ones.  Changing weather brings many kinds of diseases. During this time the number of patients increases. Children are the most vulnerable to the changing season. In fact, due to the occasion of winter, due to the warmth, the children are quickly vulnerable to cold, cough, cold and fever. Doctors say kids need extra protection when the temperature falls and bundling them up is just the beginning when it comes to safeguarding their health.   1. Changes in weather begin from February. It lasts until March. In such a situation, children need special attention in these 2 months. Put the children warm in warm clothes, so that they do not feel cold.
  2. Children should drink at least 8 glasses of water daily so that their body does not lack water.
  3. Keep children away from cold things like ice cream, cold drinks, curd, and bananas.
  4. Before leaving the house, the children must mustard oil on the nose. This will help them avoid bites from someone else’s sneezing or coughing.
  5. In the changing season, give children a little glucose and basil leaves with water. This will make him feel energetic.
  6. Children feed more onions, green vegetables, juices, and fruits. This will not make him sick quickly.
  7. Do not take children to walk early in the morning. When the sun sets out then take him out of the house. No AC or fan should be run in the night.
  8. Give an apple and curd to children in excessive amounts.
  9. Avoid bathing children with very cold water in the changing season.
  10. Children should not eat extern items like Golgappas, Noodles, Chats. Oily foods etc.

Regardless of your best efforts to protect your little one from any illness, your baby will get sick once in a while, however maybe not as often as if you didn’t take any precautions at all. But getting sick is part of growing up and is the way that your baby’s immune system will learn to fight off infections in the future. Make sure you know when to take your baby to the doctor and how to treat the most common infections such as the common cold, fever, and flu.
