India is the biggest democracy in the world. Articles 74 & 75 of the constitution of the Republic of India deal with the Council of Ministers and Prime Minister. It’s been 72 years, India is an independent country and has seen a number of personalities as its Prime Minister From 1947 to 2018. The Prime Minister of India is the Executive leader of the nation. The Prime Minister also acts as the Chief Adviser to President of India. Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of India after independence in 1947 and the current Prime Minister is Shri Narendra Modi.
