The mega two-day VIVO IPL 2018 Auction was held on January 27 and 28 at Bangalore where the 8 teams of IPL assembled under one roof to bring the best players to their team for the upcoming season of the IPL 2018.

The popularity of IPL is spread all over the world. The IPL is a Twenty20 cricket tournament featuring eight teams. It is the 11th season of IPL and the season starts on 4 April. There will be a total of 60 matches played across India. The final will take place on 27 May in Mumbai.

The players’ Auction for IPL was over and several players had laughed their way to the bank. Obviously, Virat Kohli, who is the highest paid batsman in IPL, is retained by RCB with an amount of 17 crores. Other players like MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma etc. were also gone with the huge amount but here we will discuss the Batsman who went high in the auction. England all-rounder Ben Stokes emerged as the costliest player (Rs 12.5 crore) while Jayadev Unadkat (Rs 11.5 crore) turned out to be the most expensive India cricketer at the auction. Both of them were roped in by Rajasthan Royals. There were total 580 players out of which 361 were Indians. And among all those some Players went with a huge price to the teams.
