MOMO “Suicide Game” Spreads fear On Whatsapp and Other Social Media Platforms

After the Blue Whale Game Challenge, another challenge on social media is now getting viral fast, which is becoming popular on WhatsApp. This is being called ‘MOMO’ Challenge. It is spreading rapidly in countries like Argentina, Mexico, America, France and Germany, which is provoking children for suicide. According to the experts, MOMO belongs to Japan and the horror picture that is being used for ‘MOMO Challenge Game’ was made by Japanese artist Midori Hayashi. However, Hayashi has nothing to do with this game.

According to cyber expert, “There is not one, but many dangers from the MOMO Challenge game. Through this game, criminals engage children and youth. Not only this, this kind of game encourages children to commit suicide by putting them in tension.

Actually, unknown numbers are coming to the Whatsapp nowadays. The problem starts, after saving these numbers, in many cases, these can be proven deadly. Distributing ‘death’ these numbers give ‘MOMO’ challenge. Through this game, criminals engage young children and young people. Like the Blue Well game, this challenge makes the user so distressed that they do not even go away from taking their own life.

How does this work?

  • First, the user gets an unknown number, which is given the challenge to save “Hi-Hello”.
  • Then the challenge to talk to that unknown number is given.
  • As soon as possible, suspicious numbers start to get scary pictures and video clips from the user.
  • Users are given some tasks, which are threatened if they are not completed.
  • The user is forced to commit suicide by fear of threat.

 How come this front?

According to the media report in Argentina, a 12-year-old girl had committed suicide in the past. He had recorded a video before suicidal. The police suspect that he has been provoked to do so. The police are being searched for the 18-year-old man who was in touch with that girl. Police say that the kidney mobile has been hacked for the search of the young man and the conversation between the two is being removed. In the year 2016, the Blue Whale Game spread fear in the whole world. Around the world, many children embraced death in this game’s affair.
